Are you kidding?

So, the last few days have been very eventful. I will tell you about them in a list, because otherwise I could go on and on.

  • Our air conditioner went out on Wednesday night. Not acceptable in Texas... but it is fixed now.

  • Jeff discovered a HUGE tarantula outside of our upstairs guest bedroom window. Every thing is bigger in Texas right? Claire was fascinated, I was horrified.

  • On Monday I took Luke in for his 12 month check up... usually those are no big deal. The MD found funny spots on his tummy, she called the petechael hemorrhaging (broken blood vessels). She sent us for blood work on Tuesday. Wednesday we found out that his kidney functions are not good. She is sending us back for more blood work in the morning to find out if it was a false test. Anyway... Jeff and I are both concerned, and we would love it if you would join us in praying for Luke. I believe that God is the ultimate healer. If there is something wrong with Luke's kidneys, I believe that God can heal them. I will post when I know more. Until then enjoy these frightening pictures.

I am so sorry about the week you have had. I have been thinking about yall non-stop and praying for Luke. Keep me posted!

As for that AWFUL spider...I got chills seeing it. I HATE spiders. Maybe yall should call the FW ZOO and donate it to their AWESOME spider exhibit. HA! :)

The itsy bisty spider went up the Turner's house...down came the rain and (hopefully) washed the spider out!

I am not scared of spiders but that one was pretty big. I am continuing to pray for the good health of your whole family. God is faithful.

We will be actively praying that Luke have good results from his blood test and that he be healthy. Have peace.

Spiders are cool, but I don't care for them much myself. When we had been in Brazil for only 2 months I was bit by one. It really did a number on my leg. I had a couple of "minor procedures" to remove the nasty. It is a good thing that the one at your house is on the other side of the glass.
