When life gives you lemons...

Hi Friends! It has been a while since I posted, so I thought I would give you an update on the Turner clan! It has been a crazy few months, but God is good and He is so evident in our lives.

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be
afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows. Luke 12:7
1. On August 18 Jeff went in for some test results at the doctors office. He had been having some weird symptoms, so I insisted that he go in. After a few hours of being gone he called to tell me that he was being admitted to the hospital. I went into panic mode (easy for me to do!). Once again some WONDERFUL friends stepped in to watch the munchkins, and I headed to the hospital. We found out that Jeff has a tumor/ lesion IN his spinal cord. We still do not have a clear diagnosis of what it is, as biopsying it would entail removing vertebrae. So, after a week in the hospital, and a while at home, we are still waiting. Jeff will be having repeat MRI's for the next year or two. But, praise the Lord, the last MRI showed a small bit of shrinkage. Please pray for complete healing, peace and patience while we wait for a definitive answer.

2. Claire and Luke started preschool again. They absolutely LOVE their teachers and have already learned so much in just a few weeks. I am so thankful for our church and the preschool program that they provide.

3. Me, well, I have been trying to cope. Janis, Jeff's Mom, came to stay with us for almost a month. She was amazing. I have never met such a patient person... I hope someday I can be that way! And... slowly our routine is getting back to normal!

4. I have a new website! Check it out... http://www.prettypiecesofme.com/ . Kelly over at Fabulous K did an amazing job. You might want to start thinking about Christmas presents! ;)
Lot's of love, e
Claire and Luke on the first day of school!
