Pictures

While we were in Colorado my Dad took some really great pictures of the kids. He got a fancy new camera for fathers day! I wanted to share them on my blog because... well because I think my kids are cute! I'm there Mom, so I have that right, right?
Also, I am a dreamer. Not like a "day dreamer"... a night dreamer. I am always able to remember my dreams too. Well, last night I had a funny one. I dreamt that I received a comment on my blog from someone I didn't know. The part that was weird was that they wrote in a different language. I had it translated, and the whole comment was about how bad I was at writing, and how horrible my grammar is. So, I know I am not a great writer, and I know my grammar isn't perfect, but I just thought that was a very weird dream to have. If you don't know me, and you speak another language... please don't write me a comment. That would just freak me right out!!!

Das ist sonderbar. Ich hatte einen Traum, daß ich das blog eines amerikanischen Mädchens zum ersten Mal heute lesen würde.

Emily here... FYI the rough translation for the above is:

"This is odd. I had a dream that today I would read blog of an American girl for the first time.
Anonymously."

One of my friend is pretty funny! :)

Emily,
Eu nunca vi nenhum problema com tua grammática. Não precisa ficar preoccupada com isso. Não é importante.

I thought that it would be funny to go ahead and respond to your post in another language. What I said was that "I never saw any problem with your grammar. You don't need to be worried about it. It isn't what is important."

I will say though, that you had a really weird dream. I mean, where does that person get off making a comment like that when English is obviously not their first language! I mean, come on!

I enjoy your blog and I know many other people do too. Thanks for sharing with us all.
